Q - How often should I replace asphalt pavement?
A - Normally, an asphalt surface can last between 20-30 years before needing to be replaced. If you routinely seal coat your asphalt surface every 2-3 years it will double the life of the asphalt surface.
Q - Should I have the cracks repaired immediately?
A - We recommend crack repair every 2-3 years. Crack repair slows down the process of asphalt cracks turning into pothole areas.
Q - Is it required to seal coat the driveway?
A - It is recommended to seal coat your driveway every 2-3 years which in turn can help double the life of your driveway.
Q - What should I do before you seal coat my driveway or parking lot?
A - Customers are required to remove all cars and other items (grills, garbage cans, plants, etc.) off of the driveway before we sealcoat. We recommend customers routinely clean the driveway off of any dirt, gravel, or grass build-up which will help make the sealer and asphalt last longer.
Q - What do I need to do when you come to do the paving?

Q - Can repairs be completed during any season?
A - We use EZ Street Asphalt which can be used year-round! We love this product because it also can come in tons or bags of patch making it easy to use and repair different types of areas.
Q - Will oil spots damage the asphalt?
A - Yes, we recommend if you have oil spots on your surface to use a degreaser and scrubbing area in order to help remove the spots. Oil spot cleaning is also a service we can perform during your asphalt seal coating service.
Q - What is an overlay and is it appropriate for my needs?
A - An overlay is a pavement treatment where a new layer of asphalt is applied over your old deteriorating surface. Instead of taking out the existing layer, we use it as a base to install the new layer.
Q - What is the typical procedure for installing a driveway or parking lot?
A - The typical procedure is to make sure the surface is clean, apply tack as needed, add gravel, and/or take out the existing surface as needed. Once the surface has been prepared and graded properly then install a new layer of asphalt and compact down.
Q - How do I maintain my asphalt?
A - Maintain your asphalt through routine asphalt cleaning, crack fill, asphalt repair and seal coating every 2-3 years.
Q - How long should I stay off the new asphalt?
A - Recommend staying off the new surface for 24-48 hours
